Before you start
The teeth rest, they don't bite. If it hurts, it's too hard.
Bunny teeth: rest the top teeth softly on the bottom lip.
Blow a feather or a tissue with that mouth.
Now a long fff. Air on the back of the hand. No voice.
One
4 steps. Listen to them, or use the arrows to go at your own pace.
The bottom lip tucks in
It rests under the top teeth and leaves a gap.
The soft palate closes the nose
All the air goes to that gap.
The air flows without stopping
Thin and steady. You can hold it: fffff.
And nothing buzzes
A slip of paper in front of the mouth keeps moving.
Two
The same mouth, syllable by syllable and up close: this is the model they'll copy in the mirror.
The camera shows their mouth next to the video. Nothing is recorded or saved: it only shows, like a mirror.
